AMR CyberSecurity Becomes an NCSC-Certified Cyber Resilience Test Facility

As cyber risks continue to escalate, organisations need greater confidence in the resilience of the products and services they rely on. AMR CyberSecurity is proud to announce that we have been certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) as a Cyber Resilience Test Facility (CRTF), making us one of only four organisations in the UK able to provide this independent assurance of connected products and services.

What is a Cyber Resilience Test Facility (CRTF)?

The NCSC has developed a new UK assurance methodology to help vendors demonstrate the cyber resilience of their connected products and services in a structured and consistent way. CRTFs like AMR CyberSecurity play a central role in this initiative by providing independent evaluation against the Principles-Based Assurance (PBA) methodology.

Unlike traditional compliance-focused schemes, PBA emphasises risk outcomes, allowing organisations and consumers to have confidence in the resilience of technology without relying solely on checklists. Through CRTFs, vendors can verify that their products meet rigorous standards for defending against attacks through public interfaces, typically over the internet.

As one of only four NCSC-certified CRTFs in the UK, AMR Cybersecurity now offers independent cyber resilience testing services to technology vendors across the country. We are equipped to evaluate products and services against the NCSC’s APCs, helping vendors demonstrate their commitment to security while enabling buyers to make informed decisions.
